Sunday 17 aprile è stata una splendida giornata di floorball, with the derby dispute between the Floorball Club Milano Molotov and the cousins of the QT8 Milano Voltures.
Finally buried the hatchet, le due squadre hanno dato vita a un match avvincente, equilibrato, pieno di emozioni, ma soprattutto corretto, and ending with an "third time" post-partita. (Or maybe in our sport we should call it the "fourth time"?
I Molotov, presenti in ranghi ridotti e privi di alcuni giocatori di spessore, they sold their skin dearly.
Nel primo periodo purtroppo partono un po' freddi, e subiscono dopo 5 minuti il primo gol, by the excellent Brambilla, certamente MVP per il QT8.
Nonostante la squadra, ancora alla ricerca di un equilibrio in campo, inizi a creare parecchie occasioni, i rossoblu incassano altri due gol, scored by Bergamini and again by Brambilla. Just 2 secondi dal primo intervallo però, un tiro potente di Rambaldi, non trattenuto dal portiere, is countered on the net by Cova. Thus closes on 3-1 la prima frazione di gioco.
The match therefore seems to have been reopened, but again the Voltures extend thanks again to Brambilla on a pass from Moscarello.
Lately FC Milano opens the games again, grazie a un corsaro Rambaldi che, in mischia davanti alla porta avversaria, can find the winning backend. Then still many chances to score on both sides. Again a lot of bad luck and a good closure of the QT8 on the front of the opponent's goal, e ottimi interventi difensivi di Lepratto e del nostro portierone sul versante rossoblu.
The team does not collect the empty-net goals, ma non riesce nemmeno a trovare la via del pareggio, chiudendo così sul 5-3 the meeting.
Il Floorball Club Milano quindi esce a testa alta dal campo perché, come si suol dire, "He lacked luck, not the value ".
Stay tuned…
Sunday, April 17 has been a wonderful day of floorball, with the derby between Floorball Club Milano Molotov and QT8 Voltures Milano.
Finally buried the "war tomahawk", both teams have set up a thrilling match, balanced, full of emotions, but most important thing really full of fair-play, ended with a "third time" post-game. (Or maybe in our sport have we to call it "fourth time"? Who knows … The important thing is that while elsewhere rained controversy and conflict, we enjoyed a beer all together!).
As the two referees a couple of "VIP whistles", Enrico Agostoni and Enzo Mallano, that due to a funny montage effect were provided by the same two Milano teams, and who have done a quite good match conduction.
The Molotov, who were missing some of their really effective players, have fought like lions.
In the first period anyway the legs still were unfortunately a bit 'cold, and after five minutes came the first goal, scored by the excellent Brambilla, certainly MVP for QT8.
After that the team, still looking for a balance in the field, started to create several goal chances, but took other two goals, scored by Bergamini and again by Brambilla. At only 2 seconds to the end of the first period, however, a powerful shot of Rambaldi, not held by the goalkeeper, has been rebounded in the net by Cova. Thus the first period ends on 3-1.
In the second period, Milano wasted a power-play, but found a second goal thanking to our iron-lady Titta, assisted by Cova. The match was seeming therefore reopened, but again Voltures extend thei vantage again with a goal of Brambilla, assisted by Moscarello.
The Molotov continued to create more and more goal opportunities, but with poles hitten by Cova, shots really close to the net of Rambaldi and Lejbowicz, saved shots of Ficara and Santoro, and the slap-shot on the goalie mask made by Triglia, noone has been able to find the goal. Therefore the score is 4-2 at the end of the second period.
FC Milan reopened the match again in the last period, thanks Rambaldi, that in melee in front of the opponent's goal, found the winning back-end. Then again a lot of scoring chances on both sides. Again bad luck and a QT8 good closing QT8 in the front of the opponent's goal, and an excellent defensive work of Lepratto and of our goalkeeper in the Molotov slot. The episode that ends the match, however, is the fourth goal of Brambilla after a box-play defended till death, leaving the Molotov to gamble all out by removing the goalkeeper and putting in the sixth playe with only two minutes to play.
The team does not collect the empty-net goal, but cannot even find its way to tie the game, that ends on 5-3. A really nice game, however, as also stated the – for once – large audience preset at the event.
So the Floorball Club Milan leaves the field happy standing tall, because as the saying goes, "missed the luck, not the value."
Next and final appointment on Big Field for Molotov is the trip to Vipiteno on 1st of May, to face the youngsters of ASC Algund Floorball. Stay tuned…
